HANDBAG LUST LIST

———————————————————- 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 ———————————————————-

I’ve never been much of a nice handbag type of girl. I’m more likely to be carrying around a canvas tote than I am an actual purse. But lately, I have been craving a good bag. It’s number one on my current wishlist, and have been checking out all the possibilities non-stop. These are just some of my favorites!

ROSS AND RAIN

rossandrain1

Thank you all for the birthday wishes the last couple of days! Its been a splendid long weekend back in WNY. Although, I must admit, I was a bit jealous of the gorgeous weather back in Boston yesterday. It was a gloomy, cold, and rainy day in Buffalo. Blargh. But carrying around Ross Geller’s face on my jacket made it a much brighter (the cupcakes and candy and birthday celebrations helped too) and gave everyone a good chuckle. You know, back in the day, I always thought Chandler was my favorite Friends character. But these days, I’m realizing that the majority of my favorite episodes are Ross episodes. I mean…. paste pants? unagi? Oh, I love that man.

Sorry to those of you that don’t watch Friends. But really, you’re missing out. Seriously.

TWENTY-SEVEN

birthday1

Today is my birthday! The big 2-7. But here is a little throwback to my fifth birthday. That Barney went with me everywhere, by the way. Even school. My teacher would let him sit with me at my seat. And at my party, we played pin the tail on the Barney. True story.

Anyway - luckily, I am still at home with family for my birthday! Boo and I spent a night in Niagara falls, just the two of us, and had tons of fun. And tonight, my mom is making my choice for dinner. I chose tacos. I always choose tacos. Always.

EDGE

I always have such a hard time when someone asks me to describe my style. I like to think I dabble in a lot of different styles. You know, whatever strikes my mood that day. One day I might be in a pretty lithe floral dress with girly pink pumps, and the next I’m pairing some leopard print with spiked heels and pretending I’m really edgy. Obviously, this day I was feeling the latter.

SNAPSHOTS: VEGAS, BABY

vegas1

Ok, so, I had never been to Vegas before. But I love NYC with all the lights and craziness, so I figured - how different could Vegas be? Right? Um, yeah. Personally, I think Vegas is like NYC on steroids. And maybe it was just because we just spent a week out in the quiet desert, but Vegas was a bit overwhelming when we first arrived. So many people. So much going on. But we warmed up to it after a while. We walked the strip, stuffed our faces, tried our hand at some slots (no such luck), had muuuuultiple frozen hot chocolates at Serendipity, and saw a Cirque Du Soleil show. It was actually a lot of fun!

p.s - this is the last of our trip photos. Phew, we made it through!

STAR LIGHT, STAR BRIGHT

stars1

Boo is a star guy. Well, he’s a space guy. He’s always pointing out constellations and star names and planets to me. And I’ve shown you some of his moon photos before (1, 2), but while we on our trip he dabbled in a little star photography. We still have a lot of learning to do (a bore stable tripod and better lenses would probably help, too), but I still adore how these came out. You don’t get views like this near the city.
