CATS ARE PEOPLE TOO
Some cat photos for your friday. Because isn't that what the internet was really made for?
YEAR TWO // PART TWO
I shared some of our two year anniversary photos last week. Well, after the shoot, Dawn stuck around for our bonfire and s'mores and captured a few more images. We even got to play around with sparklers!

YEAR TWO // PART ONE
Back in July, Boo and I had some portraits taken for our two year anniversary. I was anticipating the perfect blue sky, sunny summer day. But instead it rained and was windy and foggy. I was more than a little disappointed. At first. But it cleared up just in time, and turned out to be absolutely perfect. Needless to say, I am IN LOVE with them. Because Dawn is amazing. She did our one year photos, too, remember?

TWO YEARS
I’m not one to get really wordy or mushy-gushy. So I’ll just leave it at this:
Hey best friend - happy anniversary! Here’s to two perfect years, and 80 more to come. Love you.
P.S - If you wanna see more wedding photos and wedding related posts, go here.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

Last year’s Valentine’s Day shoot was one of my favorite indoor shoots that we’ve done. So we did it again! I’m thinkiiiiiiing…. new yearly tradition?
Happy Valentine’s day, everyone!

ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOOT // PART ONE

We took these photos just a couple of days before Christmas, while we were home for the holidays. Yeah, our anniversary is in July. But I am so determined to have yearly anniversary photos taken, that I’m just going to go ahead and call this the one year shoot. Even if it was 5 months late.
Our photographer, Dawn, did such an amazing job! And I’m horrible at narrowing photos down for a post, especially when I have almost 200 awesome ones. So I’m just going to go ahead and split this into two posts. Because I can. Check back tomorrow for the second half!
This first set was taken around town in East Aurora, NY, which is so quaint and cute. Even though we had to change plans at last minute (oh, mother nature), this urban setting was a perfect substitute to the winter wonderland we originally had planned.

Sand and Sunflowers (and a Birthday Boo!)
Today is Boo’s birthday!
Booboo - thanks for telling me you like my hair anyway, even though I know you hate the fact that I keep cutting it short. And thanks for driving around for 40 minutes to find that field of sunflowers we passed earlier in the day, just so I could take a few photos. And for being in the photos with me. I know you hate that, too.You have to admit, though - it was worth it. Wasn’t it? For all of that, I’ll have to make you some special birthday blondie bars. Or maybe cupcakes. Or maybe both :)
Happy birthday, Boo!

The North End-er
It’s April, you guys! And I’ve officially sworn off tights. Even if the breeze still gives my bare legs goosebumps.
Boo and I took full advantage of the nicer weather this weekend. We walked up and down the streets of the North End, grabbed Italian for lunch (and canollis for snack), sat by the waterfront and watched the sailboats, packed some sandwiches and headed to the park, chased around some ducks and geese, and had a few cups of Starbucks. Phew, that was a lot. But I’m really excited to have a whole lot more weekends like this one this spring and summer. Fo realz.
How was your weekend?

Hello, Sunshine
Happy Wednesday. Boo and I took these photos last weekend, on a perfect Sunday afternoon. If only every day could be like this one. So, here’s a little something getting me through the rest of the week, and hopefully it will help you!
Weekends are for…..
»sleeping in
»eggs benny
»messy hair
»comfy sweatshirts
»tea in your favorite mug
»catching up with your DVR
»ignoring the cleaning and projects you have to do, and instead having an impromptu photoshoot with you boo. I mean, right?!
…. And that is what I have to look forward to. What are you looking forward to for the weekend?
