Wedding Wednesday: Bridesmaids

I’m leaving my bridesmaids shoes and accessories up to them, as long as they stay in my red and yellow (and even a little bit of blue) color range. But obvioulsy I couldn’t help but put together a few ideas myself. What do you think? Do you have any ideas for them?

Traveling

sun

So this is what its like to take photos in the morning sun :) I got up super early to take these before my flight to Buffalo on tuesday morning. I’m convinced a maxi dress is the best outfit to travel in. It is pretty much like wearing pajamas. Seriously, you should try it sometime.

Repeat Offender : Bow Scarf

To see what this repeat offender thing is all about - read my first post.

To see the first time I wore this outfit, go here.

I’ve been wearing my hair in a side pony a lot lately. I seem to be in a tiff with my hair as of recent. Its long, Its everywhere, and it gets annoying. Especially when it wraps around my neck and I start to panic. Fun. But I promised Boo I wouldn’t cut it until after the wedding. And to be honest, as much as its bothering lately, the thought of cutting it also scares me. So for now, as boring as it might get, a pony or braid is the easiest way to get it out of my way until I come up with a different solution.

Neon Chain Necklace DIY

Its DIY wednesday! Here we goooooo…….

Heres what to do:

1. Plan out the layout and look you want for your necklace and cut the chains.

2. Using the masking tape, block off where you want to paint the first color. Make sure the tape is nice and tight around the ends so no paint sneaks in there!

3. Follow the directions on your spray paint can and coat your first section. Make sure you get all sides, letting it dry in between. It may take a few coats.

4. When your first section is completely dry, remove the tape. Repeat the taping process to block off your next sections. Be careful though. I found that taping my already painted orange section peeled the paint off. So instead I carefully wrapped that section nice and tight with a paper towel, and then covered the other ends with the masking tape.

Spray paint your second color. Doing exactly what you did for the first color.

5. When your second color is completely dry, remove the tape and assemble your necklace!

Tadaaaaaa! I can’t wait to wear this baby :)
