I've been busy working on baby clothes for miss Penny, and its been awhile since I've made anything for myself. So I figured there was no better way to jump back in, than with floral denim paper bag waist culotte overalls. Obviously. (pattern deets listed below).

You guys, the hype around Swedish Hasbeens is real. These are the third pair that I now own, and they are some of the most prized possessions in my shoe closet. They're also my current favorite of all my black shoes. And I have collected quite the collection. But hey, you can never have too many little black shoes, am I right?
Here it is! My first project with my DIY-ed shibori fabric. I’ve been dreaming up a knit/woven combo Darling Ranges dress for a long time, but just needed the right fabric. I did make a few mistakes, and ended up having to add some green binding to the armholes after cutting them too much (grrrr), but, overall, I am soooooo happy with the way it turned out! Just what I’ve been picturing :)

I went on a Spoonflower fabric shopping spree a while back. It’s addicting. And I have a problem. But really, I just could not pass this print up. I mean, it is titled "Henry in gray". And the pattern is Megan Nielsen’s Darling Ranges dress. Henry Darling. Fate? I think so.
And yes, Henry approves.

Second beach day in a week span. But I’m not complaining :). This time around was a lot more cloudy, but it was rather quite nice. It was still nice and warm, but without the overwhelming, burning hot sun.
I’m definitely looking forward to as many beach days we can possibly fit in these summer weekends. Who knows, maybe we’ll even squeeze one in this weekend, too :). It gives me a chance to wear all my swimwear that I went a little crazy with this year. I couldn’t help it - I am completely obsessed with the longline bikini trend going on right now! They are peeeerfect for covering up my sunken chest (and no, mine is not quite as bad as that wiki photo. But it does make me self conscious. So if I can cover it up without resorting to a tankini or one-piece, I’m a happy girl!).
