Twenty-Six

zoo1

It’s my biiiiiiiirthday today! It’s also Earth Day. Which makes it my b-earth-day.

Boo and I spent this past saturday doing our semi-traditional birthday celebration - a visit to the zoo. I love a good themed outfit, so obviously I had to wear my new animal print crop top. I mean, come on. It only made sense. And my friends, the giraffes, told me they appreciated the sentiment.

Snow Boots

snow2

You would think, after living in snow country my entire life, that I would know better when it comes to snow appropriate shoes. But every winter, when the snow comes, I refuse to give up my pretty shoes. So they get muddy, and salty, and gross, and sometimes ruined (sad face).

So I figured It was about time I start making a conscious effort to wear my snow boots more often when there is snow on the ground. I mean, my feet stay warm, I don’t ruin my pretty shoes, and they actually are pretty cute themselves.

Polka Dots In The City

I’m completely smitten with these pants. And this comfy outfit.

Over the weekend, Boo and I headed into Boston for a date night day. We wandered the streets and alleys of Beacon Hill (so adorable. can I live there now?), went to the science museum and played among all the tiny people, and then finished the day with a full DVR and a bowl of popcorn. It was a pretty successful day, if I do say so myself.

Suitcase Living

I’m usually a pretty good packer. I will start weeks before my trip, and then obsess over everything until I have the perfect combination.

And, with a teeny suitcase filled mostly with photography equipment, I packed very little clothes for this trip. I had to remix the crap out of the few items I did pack. It would’ve made a good little mini remix feature for the blog….. If I would’ve thought to photograph more outfits. But I didn’t. Of course.

So you get this one.

Next time, I swear!
