From far away this may look like a pretty basic outfit. But then you get up close and its all sequins! And velvet! And lions! Oh my!
LEAFY GREENS
LONG LIVE SUMMER
How is it September already?! And already almost Labor Day?1 Geesh. I don't know about you, but I'm actually not ready for all the fall things. At all. I'm team summer, all the way. So I'm gonna keep on wearing my white and my sandals and slip on my swimsuit to head to the beach this weekend.
About the dress - this white scuba knit was one of my prized finds from my NYC fabric shopping trip. It's a shame you can't see the embossed detail in the full length shots. It's ridiculously pretty. Do you follow me on Instagram? I posted a before shot of my sketch and a close up of the fabrics!

HEAD TO TOE
A cooler weekend these past few days allowed me to break out my new fall romper that I've been longingly staring at in my closet for the last few weeks. I may be a summer girl, and am actually dreading the arrival of fall, but I just can't deny the power of this one piece wonder.
HANDMADE WARDROBE // FLAMINGO LINGO
If you've been around here awhile, you maaaaaay recognize this fabric from a dress I made years ago. Sadly, that dress didn't survive very long. There was an unfortunate incident with the washing machine. And it was oh so sad.
Luckily I've had some extra yardage hanging around, and I finally got around to putting it to use. It only took, you know, 3 years.
