Hey there! Iβm over at the Swapaholics blog today, with a little Swap DIY outfit. Go check it out to see the rest of my post!
What I Wore To Swap Day
worn on July 30th, 2011
Saturday, the Swapaholics hosted Swap Uncapped, and my very first swap! I did score a few fun items - including cashmere sweater and a pretty granny floral skirt that will be adorbs once I hem it. But the best part of the day was meeting all the wonderful bloggers in the Boston area- including Amy and Jen! I made new friends, got to meet and talk to Jessica, and scored some fabulous new items. Although, I was a bad little blogger and forgot to take photos of the event. Except for the one below, of course.
And Iβll be debuting my acquired items soon, once I get around to altering.
tank: Delias (gift)
skirt: Anthropologie
necklace: made by me. being added to the shop later this week.
sandals: Urban Outfitters
My decision not to wear heels made me feel incredibly short next to these ladies. But it was so nice to meet Jessica and the rest of the girls!
Swapped, Part Three
worn on May 3rd, 2011
This is the third and final item Kathryn sent me for our swap. Its actually a dress. But, as I quickly mentioned monday, I had an unfortunate lapse of judgment involving this dress and an iron. It still makes me upset to think about it, so weβll just leave it at that.
But Iβm still incredibly happy with the way this outfit came out. I mean, it makes just as adorable of a skirt as it does a dress, right? You canβt not feel awesome wearing this. Its light, colorful, springy. And its one of those skirts that makes you wanna twirl with every step.
Donβt forget to check out how Kathryn styles my items over at Kitsune-kun !

Swapped, Part Two
worn on May 2nd, 2011
This little number happens to be the second dress Kathryn of Kitsune-kun sent my way. So pretty, right? And Iβm loving the subtle ombre effect going on. I donβt have much green in my closet, and I actually felt pretty spring-y wearing it. Like I was fitting in with all the new green grass and trees finally sprouting up everywhere. Oh! And look at that, I even have hints of florals too (my belt is floral even though you canβt see, as well as my shoes). Now if only I had a fancy little garden party to attendβ¦. Iβd fit right in!
Donβt forget tohead on over to Kitsune-kun to see how Kathryn styles my items!

Swapped, Part One
worn on April 30th, 2011
This week I will be swapping a few items with Kathryn of Kitsune-kun. First up - this adorable yellow dress! I could not wait to get my hands on this thing. When I first saw Kathryn wear it, I absolutely fell in love. Sunshine yellow! Tie dye! bows! Seriously, where can I get one of these babies?
Its a bit wrinkly. But after a horrible, horrible incident with one of the other swapped dresses ( and my worst nightmare), I didnβt dare try to iron it. Note to self: donβt ever, ever attempt to iron another persons clothing while in your possession again. It will end in disaster. ( Soooooo sorry again Kathryn :( ).
So, yeah. After my meltdown, this outfit was actually worn for mine and Booβs 6 year anniversary on saturday. It involved a picnic lunch, seeing Water For Elephants (which I enjoyed), and a yummy steak dinner at The Palm. Mmm Mmm Mmmmmm.
