Snapshots
Just a few snapshots from Honk Fest, these fall days, and the moon through Boo’s telescope. Really, how cool is that moon photo?! Boo did a pretty awesome job, no?
Lioness
I first wore these shorts earlier this summer. But they are perfect for cooler weather, really. Velvety soft, thick and a rich brown color. They were pretty much made to be worn over tights.
Plus, they have lions on them. Which I still can’t get over. So much love.

Shop Update - no. 3
Time for another shopHollyDolly update, you guys! Up this week - The Mixer and Spool.
The Mixer is an eclectic mix of different beads all strung together. They can include hand painted wood beads, pyrite, turquoise, glass beads, and anything I can get my hands on! Each one is different, and therefore one of a kind!
Spool necklaces are really neat, and pull at my little sewing-loving heartstrings. Each is made from a vintage wooden spool, and then wrapped in different color-blocked floss. Perfect for a seamstress or craft-lover!
Ah yes, and I also added just a couple more hair bows, as well.
Stay tuned next week for another batch of new items!
P.S - don’t forget that you can access the shop straight from the blog here at any time! Either click on the widget over on the left sidebar, or go through the shop page from the left banner menu.
Topsfield Fair

It was a rainy, cold, and at one point - powerless day at the fair last weekend. But its a yearly tradition, and I couldn’t not go this year. I would’ve had a big sad face. So we grabbed our umbrellas and headed out to Topsfield. Even with the rain, we gobbled down all our favorite foods (seriously the best part of any fair), the animals were still all smiles, and the game people still hassled us to spend our money.
Aaaaah I love the fair :)

Do I look cold? I promise you I wasn’t. These were taken last week when we had a random 80 degree day that snuck back into our fall weather. It. Was. Glorious.

Shop Update - no. 2
I have the next batch of shopHollyDolly items ready to go! Introducing : Little Gem and Five.
Little Gem is a dainty little necklace featuring a little colored gem and a dropped gold filled chain. Right now, it comes in teal green, orange, and smokey grey. I’m kind of obsessed with this new little necklace! You can see me wearing it here and here.
Five is a necklace that features 5 different colored faceted beads. Some have a dropped chain, while others have a tangled web of chain intertwined between the beads. All of these necklaces end up looking different - between the color combos and different chain details. So every one is like a one of a kind! You can see me wearing Five here.
Oh yes, and I also updated the tassel necklaces. Check those out, too, in the shop.
Stay tuned next week for another batch of new items!

New England Fall Adventure
On Saturday, Boo and I embarked on the quintessential New England fall day. We drove all the way up into New Hampshire, over to Maine, and then back down into Massachusetts. All in one day. We took in the changing foliage, came across a small town farmers market, climbed to a few waterfalls, ate lunch overlooking the beautiful view above, stopped for some pumpkin donuts and maple popcorn and apple cider, and took sooooo many pictures.
It was one gorgeous day, I tell you :)
